Absolutley. We’re happy to work with lash extensions applied elsewhere, provided the existing work is safe and suitable to refill. For your first appointment with VLH, we recommend booking a Large 90 minute Refill so your lash artist has plenty go time to asses your lashes, remove any grown-out or unsuitable extensions and consult with you about the look you’d like moving forward.
If a fresh start is the better option, we’ll discuss this with you - and remember, lash removals are completely complimentary when booked with a full set at VLH. -
We understand the sometimes plans change, which is why we ask for at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment, or failure to attend, will incur a fee of 50% of the booked service total. This may be charged to the card on file for up to 5 days following the appointment. If the payment is unsuccessful, an invoice will be sent to the email address provided or the outstanding fee may be added to your future appointment.
Any outstanding cancellation or no-show fees must be settled before further appointments can be accepted, unless otherwise discussed with VLH. -
Yes. New clients will receive a consultation and consent form via text message before their first appointment. This covers important information relating to your treatment, salon policies and anything your artist needs to know before your appointment.
Please take a few minutes to read through and complete your form before arriving - it helps us keep consultation nice and easy and ensures you’re fully informed before we get started. -
If a patch test is required or you’d prefer to have one before your treatment, this needs to be completed at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. Please contact the salon ahead of time so we can arrange this for you.
If you’re unsure whether you should have a patch test or not, you’re always welcome to reach out to the VLH team before booking. -
Absolutely! You don’t need to know all the technical details before booking - that’s our job! Choose the service you feel is closet to what you’re after, and your VLH artist can talk you through your desired result and make recommendations at your appointment. If you’re completely unsure, get in touch with us before booking and we’ll point you in the right direction.

This all depends on your treatment, natural growth cycle and lifestyle. Lash extension refills are generally recommended every 2-3 weeks, while brow and lash lift maintenance varies depending on the service. Your artist will recommend a schedule that works best for you and your desired result.

We want you to love your VLH results. If something doesn’t feel quite right after your appointment, please reach out to us within 7 days of your treatment and give us the opportunity to help.
If the issue relates to your treatment or application, we’re more than happy to assess it and, where appropriate, arrange a complimentary fix-up. We would always prefer to hear from you and have the chance to make it right.
Please keep in mind that issues relating to normal shedding, aftercare or circumstances outside of the treatment itself may not be eligible for a complimentary fix-up. We’re always happy to chat and help troubleshoot to find out what might be going on!! -
Yes please! For lash appointments, arrive with clean lashes and no mascara or eye makeup where possible. For brow appointments, clean skin with minimal makeup around the area gives us the best canvas to work with. Don’t stress if you’re coming straight from work though - we’re always happy to prep for you if needed!
-
Yes! At VLH, we apply a bonder at the end of your lash extension appointment to instantly cure the adhesive and seal the bond. There’s no need to follow the old 24-hour no-water rule. You can get them wet straight away, in fact we wash them at the end for you! Regular cleansing is an important part of keeping your lashes healthy and helping retention.
