What started in 2023 as a one-woman business in the spare room of Hannah’s house has grown into a team of talented artists and a salon we’re incredibly proud to call ours.
As VLH has grown, the philosophy behind it has stayed pretty simple: exceptional beauty treatments shouldn't have to come with a clinical or intimidating experience.
We care about education, quality and doing things properly, but we care just as much about how you feel while you’re here. Come in exactly as you are, have a laugh, tell us your life story or put your headphones in and enjoy some quiet time - there’s no pressure to be anything other than yourself.
We want you to leave with lashes and brows you love, but we also want the time you spend with us to be one of the best parts of your day.

Think cool tones, moody Art Deco details, plenty of greenery and a relaxed atmosphere where you can settle in and make yourself at home.
We’ve created a space that’s polished without feeling clinical, elevated without feeling intimidating, and most importantly, somewhere both our clients and our team genuinely love spending time.

Meet the VLH team
Hannah
Owner & FounderHannah founded VLH in 2023 from the spare room of her home, and grew it from a one-woman business into the salon and team it is today.
After completing her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in 2018, Hannah spent four years specialising in brow and lash treatments at a leading salon in her home hometown in Victoria before making the move to Mackay. Now approaching nine years in the beauty industry, her passion has grown from simply creating beautiful lashes to building a space where both clients and her team genuinely love to be. Hannah can’t wait to welcome you to the VLH family!
Bridie
Senior Lash & Brow ArtistBridie joined the VLH team in January 2026, bringing with her a wealth of experience across the beauty industry. After completing her Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy in 2023, she continued her education with a Diploma of Beauty therapy in early 2025 and has spent over two years specialising in lash & brow services.
Known for her gentle and kind nature, Bridie loves creating a safe, comfortable space where her clients can switch off, feel completely at ease and leave feeling their best.
Meka
Lash & Brow ExpertMeka officially joined the VLH team in May 2026, but she’s been part of the VLH family for much longer, featuring on our content team since 2024 as well as being a long-time client! She’s definitely a familiar face in our salon. She completed her lash & brow certification through the Australian Beauty School in 2023, before deciding to turn her love for the industry into a career.
With her bubbly, outgoing personality and ability to make just about anyone feel welcome, it didn’t take long for Meka to become a favourite amongst our clients.
Louise
Advanced Beauty ProfessionalLouise joined the VLH team in February 2026 - Although she was already very familiar with the salon after being a VLH client herself for three years! She completed her Certificate III in Beauty Therapy in 2021 and has worked across all areas of the industry, with over four years specialising in lash extensions.
A mum of two, Louise is no stranger to a little chaos and brings an easy-going, down-to-earth energy to every appointment. her goal is for clients to feel completely comfortable on her bed - more like you’re catching up with your bestie!
